The Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology located at Florence-Darlington Technical College has announced a day to educate entrepreneurs about resources that are available to help initiate, market, and finance their businesses.
Resource partners and experienced entrepreneurs will share personal insights and practical tools that businesses can use to accelerate growth and improve their successes.
The topics to be presented include:

- Economic Security and the Protection of New Products
- Commitment: The Key to Entrepreneurial Success
- Getting Found on Google
- Choosing Social Media Platforms for Your Business
SiMT Entrepreneurship Day is open to anyone who is thinking about starting a new service or developing a product, as well as established businesses who want to stay current in their industries and network with emerging companies.
Registration begins at the SiMT Conference Center at 8:30 am with the program lasting from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. There will be tours of the Virtual Reality Production Studio and the Advanced Manufacturing Center following the presentations.
