Sponsor Spotlight: WYFF Interviews Definite Defense about New Gun Laws

The Open Carry with Training Act was signed into law by Gov. Henry McMaster. It took effect on Aug. 15. According to the state law, people with a Concealed Weapon Permit can open carry a firearm in public. The law states open carry training will be included in the required training for anyone who gets a CWP on or after Aug. 15.

Definite Defense owner Shea Kim sat down with Upstate news reporters to explain the new law and why training is so important. Shea served 6 years in the U.S. Navy as a Military Police Officer. She now teaches CWP courses and offers her expertise about crime prevention and personal safety through the Refuse to be a Victim Program.

Definite Defense sponsored the i4Series Back-to-School event, Protecting Your Family and Business in a Digital World.
